In a bid to create a "means of transport with no affiliation to a particular type of vehicle," Peugeot unveiled the HYmotion3 concept hybrid scooter. We think it promises to be the best three-wheeled French automobile since the lugs came loose on your aunt's '62 Dauphine.

While three-wheelers are gaining in popularity, Peugeot's self-described "concept scooter" is the only one to feature a hybrid drivetrain. There's no synergy drive or motor assist here: a supercharged internal combustion engine (already found in the production Peugeot Satelis) is in the back, while hub-mounted motors drive the front two wheels.
