Flying car again? Yeah, it’s the Transition, sounds closer to reality

It’s another piece of news about flying car and this time it sounds pretty close to reality. Are you tired, bored and fed up of hearing the same repeated story about the flying car, which none of them has ever surfaced in the market?

Transition is a gas-powered flying car, which is now being worked out by a team at Terrafugia. And they claim that this flying car will roll out by the end of next year and aim at the rich group, which carries a huge price tag of $194,000.

Transition will come with a pusher prop, four wheels and a pair of 10-foot-wide wings. It’ll also feature the design that emphasizes on safety, and specially designed to comply to automotive crash safety standards. It’ll include a full vehicle parachute which you can choose to throw during emergency or about to have crash in the air.

The Transition has a flying range of approximately 450 miles. The team is planning for a first flight next month. We have more pictures and video here. Doesn’t it look little overweight which doesn’t look easy for it to take off ?
