FCC Passes Motorola VU30 Phone

The FCC has taken a look at Motorola's VU30 clamshell handset and nodded its head in approval, which means the market ought to see a new clamshell handset with the following pretty soon :-

• 2 megapixel camera
• EV-DO connectivity
• Stereo Bluetooth support

While it won't turn heads with its design, it looks set to be a pretty functional mid-range phone - chances are average Joes will use this as a portable modem most of the time, with some spot of audio playback in between business trips.
