Apple to launch a $800 laptop?
It has been reported by the inquisitr that Apple will launch a laptop starting at $800 (the information is said to come from an Apple retailer). The line-up includes the Macbook ($1099 and up), Macbook Pro and Macbook Air, but we don't yet know what product the $800 price point refers to. It seems a little expensive for a netbook, but it might be an entry-level laptop that is priced aggressively. After all, many users miss the 12" Apple laptop and a 10.2" model would be a killer!
At this point, we believe that Apple will launch a new model aimed at getting more market share in the sub-$1000 space. Stay tuned!
